Return To Work Coordinator Training
Equip yourself with the skills and knowledge required to deliver effective return to work outcomes for injured employees.
All workplaces with 30 or more employees must appoint a Return to Work Coordinator (RTWC) and CHG has a proud history of providing the highest quality of workplace health services to South Australian employers.
We have approached our role as a RTWC training provider with the commitment that we will provide the highest quality training available to employers in this state using experienced trainers and the resources of our doctors and therapists.
Participants will leave our two-day program with skills and understanding of;
- the workers compensation legislation relevant to rehabilitation and return to work of injured employees
- the roles of key stakeholders, including injured workers, doctors, claims managers and supervisors
- common injuries and medical terminology
- how to identify, negotiate and offer suitable duties to injured workers
- how to effectively communicate with doctors and other treating professionals
- how the take away resource folder and other material can assist in the role of RTW Coordinator.
Participants who undertake the RTWC training with CHG will gain practical skills in identifying suitable duties, understanding injures and pain which are the most common barriers to Return to Work.
CHG is approved by ReturnToWorkSA to provide this training and all successful participants will be issued a certificate upon successful completion of the course.
